Who I am

An engineer, a former Mayor, and a neighbour who knocks on doors.

Engineer by training

An engineer with a master’s in advanced computer science. I have spent fifteen years delivering large technology programmes in defence and banking, and I run a small AI business here in Wellingborough. I like problems that have owners and deadlines.

Mayor for a year

The town’s fifth Mayor, 2025 to 2026. I visited schools, charities, faith groups, businesses, care homes and sports clubs across every ward, and raised more for the Mayor’s charities than any Town Council mayor before me.

Independent by choice

In August 2026 I left party politics to sit as an Independent for Victoria Ward. The only people I answer to now are the residents who elected me. Whatever you vote, whoever you are, you are my job.

Track record

What a year as Mayor looks like in numbers.

£6,421raised for Together for Short Lives and the Veterans Community Network, the most raised by any Mayor since the Town Council was formed.

2025the year Swanspool Gardens, the Pavilion and the tennis courts came home to the Town Council, with my backing as Mayor.

What I stand for

Wellingborough deserves a louder voice.

Decisions about this town are made in Corby, in Kettering and in Westminster. These are the things I raise, in every room I am in, on behalf of the people who live here.

Safe streets

Streetlights that work, alleys that are gated, patterns of anti social behaviour reported and acted on, and young people with somewhere better to be.

A town centre worth the walk

A high street and market that people choose, with parking, cleanliness and events that give residents a reason to come back.

Growth that brings the basics with it

Stanton Cross and every new estate must come with the school places, GP appointments, roads and buses to match.

Health you can actually reach

Appointments, pharmacies and mental health support close to home, and a council that pushes the NHS on behalf of residents.

Local ownership

Swanspool showed what happens when the town owns its own assets. More of that, with proper investment behind it.

Straight answers

Plain English about what can be done, what cannot, and why. Residents are not case numbers, and they can tell when they are being handled.

Roads, streets and bins

Potholes, streetlights, parking, pavements, fly tipping and missed collections. These belong to North Northamptonshire Council. I know which team, and I chase.

Parks, events and grants

Swanspool Gardens, the market, the Carnival, Party in the Park and Town Council grants for local groups. These sit with the Town Council, where I have a vote.
